Hello to Love

Fear
extended His hand
inviting me into his lair,
and curious what lurked inside
I took his hand.
The first step I took,
but then the whirling
sucked me into the tornado
as Fear laughed in victory.
The tornado raged.
I was helpless,
paralyzed by the what ifs.
Chaos ensued.
I lost myself
as Fear controlled my every thought, my every action.
I was Fear’s slave.
Exhausted, frustrated, unable to endure anymore,
a whisper came from within,
“Love. Trust in Love. She will save you.”
And unsure what it meant,
I willed myself to focus on the word LOVE.
A warm feeling spread from my heart outward
and I basked in the warm glow of Love.
My cells were infused with Love’s caress
and I found myself
breathing deeply,
dancing with abandon,
singing at the top of my lungs,
and others joining me in song and dance.
For the first time,
my heart overflowed with such Love
and I radiated happiness.
I waved goodbye to Fear
and embraced my life with Love.
