between Sun and Earth,
shed their ice crystal feathers,
tenderly release
blankets of love,
embrace Nature’s pure essence.

no longer donning their leaves
reach out to inviting
wispy flakes to rest
as if a painter’s brush
touched the branches with glitter.
Heaven’s gates open.

snow crystals suspended,
glistening in the sun’s rays.
She looked heavenward

Who was sprinkling magic,
pixie dust to blanket
the hibernating earth?
Pine trees accepted the glittering gift,
and Earth snuggled
beneath the magical veil.
A hawk flew overhead
beckoning her on an adventure.
Her heart opened,
a pixie dust awakening…
